My daughther had her nails done.. the color wasnt right, so we went back the next day. The owner was nice, but the guy who had done the work kept saying you knew what color it was , you knew it was color change while she was speaking to us. Needless we will never go back. Le nails in lafayette is our new nail home.
Absolutely horrible!! I only left one star because I couldn't leave a negative star! Went in today, had another customer come in after me and got sat first, the technician was pretty rough with my nails, then fast forward to three hours later and two polish changes after what I requested and I walk out over charged and disgusted and displeased!! I will never return and will leave this review on every platform available!! Not the way to retain customers!!
I kniw this is long but i feel important info..i started going here several years ago when the man was owner. He always argued with me bc I didn't want square shape bc that is in style. My nails are very wide so when I've tried that, they look like scoopshovels. Most of the visit consisted of him telling me how lazy his wife Jessica is. Now Jessica owns it and I originally went to her consistently. About a year ago, she pretty much said I was ugly..u b the judge: she said, "Donna, u know how to do this?" She made motions of dabbing on makeup..i said, yes I do. She said," some girls VERY ugly..then they do this, and WOW,,they are pretty." I am not kidding..i do have scarred skin and mostly its bc i have dark spots bc i scar dark from acne but even tho I am very self conscious about it, it's not THAT BAD, and even if it was, that was extremely rude to tell me how ugly I am. I think part of the reason she said it is due to cultural ettiquit differences, but still, i was humiliated..one time before that I had another lady do repairs.on 3 nails and she did a horrible job..nails bumpy and thick. Next time I made sure to get Jessica and I asked her to fix the bumps on my thumb. She responded that maybe I should get someone else to do my nails bc she couldn't please me. It was humiliating..several other clients heard it and I don't know why I didn't just walk out. I will admit I am picky and notice flaws more than most ppl but I rarely complain and tip well, even when I shouldn't. The uneven bumps on my thumb were totally ridiculous and she mentioned several times that the job was good..even tho they were horrible..bumpy and not same length as other nails..so now a year later i go there bc there aren't many choices near me and I have a Christmas party to go to. She mentioned at least 6 times that I only go there once a year for the Christmas party. And she also said a few times that my nailbeds are fat. It is true but I weigh 135 and wear a size 6, so I am not fat..my nailbeds are larger than most ppl..and I have arthritis so my knuckles are big but insulting me AGAIN is not necessary..i know they are big..no need to tell me over and over and the only reason I hadn't returned is bc she said I was ugly. Even if a person only goes once a year, they should b respected if that is a choice they make. I would gladly be a loyal.customer if I ever find a technician who does a good job and doesn't tell me I am ugly bc I choose to wear no makeup now and if anyone can't see past my ugly face then they can kiss my ARSE and aren't worth my time. So top it all off that the techs here, including Jessica, don't get into doing designs..another client and I were talking about the designs we had seen on internet. The lady wanted a snowman and the guy told her he couldn't do that.. Jessica jumped in and said that special designs were not profitable for them...explaining that the time it took to do them only made them ten dollars and they could make more by doing full sets and fills. She is missing the boat here bc if they were talented and motivated to do cool stuff, they could add an extra 10 to 20 bucks to each job just by taking another 10 mins to make it special..let alone the extra satisfaction for customers..my previous salon that was worth the 30 min drive was very good at designs..so sad that the owner went back to Vietnam or I would still be going there and getting at least a 10 dollar design each time..just on my 2 ring fingers..little effort for them to make an extra 10 bucks. So I'm gonna try Ruby at Ivy nails in Brownsburg..a 45 min drive for me, bc she has been recommended to me by several ppl. Good luck to u if u are very ugly like me, stay away from here..i am done and my friends and even my hair stylist are boycotting her bc I told them how she has insulted me, lol.
I always get my nails done by the owner of the shop. She is very kind, sweet, open and loves to talk. I enjoy the conversation. She does exactly what you want and if I do have a problem she fixes it immediately. I will always be coming back to get my nails done.
I'm never going here again. I came her about 3 years ago and they were great. Today when I went the person I had didnt have any respect for paying people. My best friend left in tears.
